‘Going Off Track’

Going off track is part of the track.

Don’t beat yourself up about it.

In fact, it’s even better if you plan for it, because it is going to happen.

There is going to be a vacation, wedding, or party.

There is going to be a crappy week where you just don’t get to cook.

There are two sides to every coin and, those sides are not both 100% discipline.

For most people, 80% discipline + 20% freedom is enough.

There’s a 90% chance that’s you.

Some people might need more discipline, but not most.

Remember that no matter how far ‘off track’ you may feel, generally speaking, it takes less time ‘on track’ in order to get back to where you were when you went off.

That’s because the body has an amazing capacity to heal itself, when given the chance.
