Always Sharpen Your Edge

As Coach Zach points out in this recent podcast with Brad Davis from ‘Adventure Athlete Fit’, attempting to train ‘too perfectly’ inevitably leads to a loss of your edge as an athlete.

We’re not meant to always be inside, in air conditioning, surrounded by machines, televisions, and mirrors.

We’re not meant to always follow the same program, or even sometimes, to follow a program at all.

Sometimes we must simply train for how we feel in that moment.

This kind of unpredictability and intentional discomfort leads to you having an edge over most people.

You’re ready for anything.

Any kind of strength.

Any kind of endurance.

Any obstable.
