We each have different roles to play in life. For example, you might be a husband, father, son, brother, colleague, president, and volunteer, to name a few.
But if you don’t take good care of yourself at the ‘I’ level, just for you, then you will never be able to be as good a husband, father, son, brother, colleague, president, and volunteer as possible.
As I’ve mentioned before, self-love isn’t selfish, it’s selfless.
In fact, disregard for self can be looked as a selfish, because you would be letting all of those other people who depend on you down.
