Everything is Zen, of course. (It cannot be any other way.)
However, we don’t always feel Zen, or see it that way.
Folding the laundry is one of my favorite examples of this.
Folding the laundry could easily be viewed as an annoying chore, one that you would much rather not be doing, because you have so many other things you either need to be doing, or would rather be doing, and there simply isn’t enough time.
However, it can also be enjoyed and experienced deeply and fully for exactly what it is. A calming, mindful, even fun respite from the hustle and grind mode we spend so much time in.
Folding the laundry is Zen.
Whether you choose to see it that way, or not.
