I Am Afraid

I am afraid of failing, and losing everything.

Now, I spend very little, if any, time each day paralyzed in fear.

I am a ‘keep moving things forward’ and ‘take risks’ kind of guy.

But, in a recent morning meditation, I admitted to myself: deep down, I do have this fear.

It’s important to be honest (with yourself) about what scares you.

It’s natural, and it’s healthy to be in touch with that.

It’s also the only way to dance with your fear – to see it.

Finally, of course, your fears are highly unlikely to come true, outside of your head.
