I talked a little bit out ‘saying Yes’ more often the other day, and I have to say, Yes! It has been transformative.
Particularly when you make it a point to say Yes to things that frustrate you. In fact, this might be the most important way to use this method.
When something frustrates you, say Yes.
Go into it deeply.
Deal with it directly, whatever the problem or task is.
And then go even deeper.
Why was it frustrating in the first place?
What can you change about your response, or your environment, that will remove the frustration completely?
There is always a way.
This is the path to reducing stress.
If you avoid it in any way, it won’t go away.
