I rarely ever go out to dinner at a restaurant hungry.
Even if I know that I’m going to love the food – especially if I know that I’m going to love the food – I never want to arrive at a restaurant too close to ‘starving’.
Otherwise, I’ll be tempted to order too much (unnecessary financial cost) and eat too much (unnecessary health cost).
Typically, within the few hours beforehand, depending on how much I’ve recently eaten & how hungry I am, I’ll have a few snacks (nuts, fruit, etc.) or even a small ‘pre-dinner’, like leftovers.
