Mental Weights

The other day I wasn’t feeling 100% physically, but I went into the gym anyway to train.

It had been a few days without training, and that was starting to be like a weight on my mind.

Sometimes, you need to ‘lift weights’ (or exercise in any capacity) physically in order to ‘lift weights’ off of your mind.

I kept the weights very light or at bodyweight that day, because I knew what the workout session was about.

It was mental, not a physical workout.
