When I head out into various food environments, I prepare myself to eat either a lot, or a little.
Whether it be a day on the road by car or train, a wedding, a restaurant, the beach, an event or concert … you name it … if the quality of the food (for me & what specifically works for me) is uncertain, then I’m completely ready, and happy, not to eat.
This way, if I do eat food that I like, it’s just a bonus, and there’s no pressure at all to feel like I have to compromise my health.
