Relax Later

If I am going to skip one of my weekly workouts for any reason, and not be able to make it up later in the week, although this is very rare for me, I make it a point not to obsess about it.

I might be grumpy for a bit, but I will move on.

At the same time, if the opportunity presents itself to make that workout up later at an unplanned time, I’m going to take it.

It’s great to be driven and disciplined with your exercise.

It’s also important to have at least a small percentage of leeway, and occasionally give yourself permission to relax.

Seize every opportunity to train now, so that you earn your relaxation later.
