‘Busy Man’?

I stopped to get gas the other day, opened my trunk to rearrange a few things (a soccer ball, a box of catalogs), when the observing attendant remarked ‘Busy man’, with a smile.

Obviously he didn’t read this recent post where I said ‘don’t call me b-u-s-y!’

He meant it as a compliment, thus I was OK with that usage.

Reflecting more on the original post, one word, of course, can be used in many different ways.

Just don’t use it – or any word – as a crutch.
