On a typical morning, I have a race with myself.
A race to be done making my coffee, which is the last part of my personal morning routine, before anyone else in my family is in the kitchen, or in need of my presence.
It’s not that I can’t be present while making coffee, or before. I can.
But the feeling of having absolutely nothing left to do for myself simply means that I can give 100% of myself, without thinking about anything else, to others.
