The Last Minute

Sometimes, waiting until the last minute is a good thing.

For example, when I sit & meditate for twenty minutes, the first 18 minutes can be a bit restless.

I might be shifting my body slightly here & there, or following various thought streams.

But then, at the end, the last minute or two is often completely full of stillness; of nothing.

This final minute is most enjoyable, and worth every single second of the first nineteen minutes that it took to get there.
