Restriction is a method that I both coach and use.

We can talk about restriction in many contexts; for today, I’m focused on restriction as it applies to your diet.

But, this point might also apply to other areas of your life, such as: financial, social, mental, etc.

Sometimes I coach programs that, temporarily, the client follows a restrictive diet.

But that is never the goal.

It’s not the best way for anyone to have to eat long-term.

It’s just a tool to accomplish something in the short-term, such as reduce inflammation, or lose some weight quickly.

It is NOT a free pass to go back & forth from ‘eating whatever you want’ to ‘restriction to offset’, and back again.

The moment you find yourself doing that, then restriction probably isn’t the right tool for the job.
