I will never say that eating the ‘Standard American Diet’ for over 20 years was the sole cause of my eventually becoming overweight, sick, and depressed, in my early twenties.
However, there is no doubt in my mind that diet greatly exacerbated the situation.
It almost doesn’t really matter ‘which came first’; emotional issues, processed foods, alcohol, inactivity …
… what matters is that if you’re putting junk food into your body, your eventually going to feel that mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
And of course, physically.
