Some people simply need to loosen up their diet.
Yes, you might be surprised to hear that, but actually, a fair percentage of people I coach or talk to are too restrictive with their practices.
By ‘too restrictive’ I mean that they are restricting themselves to the point where their restrictions are preventing their progress.
(Or worse, actually harming them or causing them regression.)
This will vary. Take the example of weighing & measuring all of your food. This might be great for some people, some times, but for others, it may simply just be way too much (or unnecessary).
This could apply to just about anything food related: feeding windows, list of foods eaten or not eaten, food rotation, quantity of food, timing of meals, number of meals, over-identification with a certain diet, and more.
Don’t trap yourself into a dietary box.
