‘But’ is one of those words that I recommend you be very careful with.
Relationships are a big part of your health.
If you truly Love someone, and you’re always attaching conditions to it, then you’re either confused about what Love is (or can be), or you need to work on changing your internal mindset and language around it.
Remember: what comes out of your mouth originates in your head and/or body first, via thoughts & feelings.
Be honest with yourself.
Why is that ‘but’ always popping up?
It might just lead to a really healthy conversation with the other person.
