Being Right

Sometimes you run into a situation where the other person thinks they are right, no matter what.

Guess what?

They’re right.

If someone thinks they are right, then, they are.

(According to their own thoughts, at least.)

But that doesn’t mean they are wrong, just because you are aware of this.

Be careful; that’s a trap.

They are actually right to think whatever they want to think, unconditionally.

Once you put a condition or a judgement on it, you create an additional separation.

You don’t have to agree, but you don’t have to be wrong either.

If you think they’re mistaken about feeling right, then you can point out how their position might not be serving them as well as they think it is, but ultimately, it’s up to them to decide.

Not you.
