I don’t know about you, but the # of inbound emails I receive is very consistent.
They are always coming in with a steady cadence at all hours of the day (and night).
Whenever I rush to respond to them as they come in, then they increase.
Conversely, whenever I schedule time to respond to them in an orderly manner, then the flow either stays the same, or is reduced.
Yes, some emails require responses sooner than others, and that’s OK – you should certainly reply to those ones on time.
But others do not.
If you want to get less email, send less email.
