What if, instead of approaching that food or drink which you crave with a mindset of restriction, such as ‘I’m only going to eat this once a week’, or, ‘I’m only going to have just one cookie at a time’ …
… you approached it with the opposite mindset; one of no restriction.
“I can eat this whenever I want.”
What if the removal of that restriction actually reduced the cravings, by getting rid of the notion that you are doing something immoral?
This doesn’t work for every person with every food.
It depends on you, how disciplined you are, and how strong the cravings are, among other things.
But, it’s worth noting that sometimes, too much restriction can backfire.
