The Impact of Alcohol

With the ‘Recovery Score’ pictured below pertaining to how well my body had recovered from the previous day’s activity, which includes everything I did that day: eating, drinking, sleeping, exercise, stress, etc …

… can you guess which day last week I had 2 alcoholic drinks and ate dinner at a restaurant?

Hint: It was only once.

I don’t drink very often. (But I used to.)

In fact, this year, I’ve probably had less than 10 drinks to date, since January 1st, including the 2 shown above (on Saturday, if you haven’t figured it out).

Back when I used to drink heavily, I would have told you that having 2 drinks ‘was nothing’.

It’s not nothing.

It impacts your system, whether you have a hangover or not.
