No matter what happens, no one can ever take away the work you put in.
No matter if that competition gets cancelled, the entire project gets pulled, or even if you play the game and lose.
If you put in the time, the work, the effort to be the best you could possibly be, to deliver the best work you possibly could, no matter what the result, that work is still yours, and still 100% valid.
The work is the gift.
I’m not sure quite sure who said that first, but they were right.
