Do you get urges to eat certain foods?

Do you think such urges can be controlled?

Do you think ‘going cold turkey’ is best?

Or, is it perhaps something more like this …

… that the choices we have available when those urges arise, our responses to those urges, with repeated practice of both awareness & improvement can help steadily bring us towards a healthy middle ground?

Sticking your finger into the hole of a dam can only hold the pressure for so long.

However, restructuring the flow of the river, while much harder work to do, can transform intense pressure into manageable, even gentle flow.
