As you can see, the root of the word ‘question’ is ‘quest’, or, search for knowledge.
I’m often asked questions around the neighborhood about food.
The thing is, most people aren’t ready to hear the real answer …
… which more likely means that they’re not consciously aware of the depth of their own question.
For example:
“Is it good to drink kombucha? Does drinking it regularly really have beneficial probiotic effects?”
It depends!
What are the ingredients? How many cans per day? What else are you eating? Does that regularly include other sources of fermented foods such as sauerkraut or kimchi? Are you aware of the general scientific consensus (if there is one) on the topic? Are you being drawn in by clever marketing?
Do you care enough to look into these things and make your own conclusion, or, do you just want someone else to tell you what to do?
That last question might be the scariest.
