Often during my twenty-minute morning meditation, I sit with the intention to hold my body completely still.
Not to move one muscle. Not even a twitch, if possible.
Holding your physical body still forces you to master your mental ‘body’.
The truth is that even if the movements are very, very slight, there is always some movement. I’m never completely still.
But sometimes I can sit so still that you would never notice any motion.
Sometimes, I can’t.
Either way, it’s good practice.
