Food & Feelings

If we continually ‘reward’ ourselves with food whenever we celebrate something, we associate those foods with feeling good … with feelings.

So then, what do we expect that we’ll do later on when we feel bad?

We’ll always have deep emotional connections with food, there’s no easy way to separate those two things.

However, if you’re struggling with emotional eating and cravings, my #1 recommendation to assuage that is awareness.

By paying attention to where those cravings & desires really are coming from, you can slow them down or stop them before they turn into unhealthy behavior.
