There was a time early in my professional career that I was buying a lot of domain names.
I would think of a decent business idea, then start looking on Namechk, and grab the appropriate domain if it was available.
I never used most of them.
They were cheap.
But here’s the thing about always searching for ‘the next big thing’ or ‘the one hit wonder’ …
… it doesn’t work that way.
At some point, you have to put your foot down and actually work on one to make it work.
It’s not necessarily even the name that matters at all.
