Social Eating

I’m often asked, “Well Matt, what do you eat?”

This is because many people around the neighborhood know I’m a nutrition coach / ‘healthy’ guy.

Well, sometimes, when I go to a party or venue where I know in advance there may not be any choices that are good for me, I’ll eat …

… nothing.

To eat nothing at a 4 or 6 hour event, you must first commit to potentially eating nothing before you ever leave the house.

If you arrive seeking food, you’ve already lost half the battle.

You don’t need to eat while you’re there unless you think you do, which is always the result of not being prepared.

You can mentally prepare yourself before you go, and of course, you can eat beforehand as well.

Social events don’t have to be about food.
