My post the other day about ‘no appointments necessary’ theory got a lot of response, and I think I know why.
It’s because it’s true, and something we’ve all felt at one time or another, and for some of us, far too often.
Much like the sentiment I’ve had that I sometimes just want to throw my cellphone under a steamroller. Not because I don’t love talking to people – I do.
Because we all (well, for now) grew up with without them and we survived just fine.
I’m sure that the balance in between is possible. I often keep my phone far away from me and don’t look at it for long periods of time.
And I haven’t destroyed my electronic calendar, yet.
But I might start filling it up less & less, little by little.
