If your signals are all messed up and out of balance, then you cannot ‘listen to your body’. All you’ll hear is noice.
Conversely, when your body is truly in a state of homeostasis (which is where it always wants to be), then the signals it sends you can be trusted.
Translation: eating lots of processed ‘not-foods’ will lead you to a place where you cannot ‘intuitively eat’.
However, if you eat a clean, whole foods-based diet, then you’ll know the moment you put something in your mouth, or the moment you run low on something critical, because your body will tell you.
