I woke up the other morning at the beginning of the short week (post-Memorial Day) initially thinking that ‘there wasn’t going to be enough time’.
That kind of thinking can spiral out of control quickly.
If there’s not enough time to accomplish what you want or need to early in the week, then you might have to work really late, or, not deliver projects by their deadlines, and then get in trouble, either with your boss or your family …
99% of the time those imaginary chain reactions of hypothetical fears never come true.
Plus, you can say ‘no’ to them.
You can choose to see things more clearly, no just through the lens of fear and scarcity.
You can see that, in fact, you have plenty of time, especially when you choose what not to do wisely.
