It’s Probably Not That Urgent.

That text that you feel compelled to send right now.

That phone call that you requested to have tonight, during dinnertime.

That email that you know, deep in your gut, you should not click send on, but your anger and your brain are screaming at you to type & send right now!

Yeah, none of those things probably need to happen as urgently as they feel they do in the heat of the moment.

In fact, a few breaths, minutes, or hours being allowed to pass might actually resolve the situation.

Or if not completely resolve, provide more clarity and space from which you can respond thoughtfully.

Perhaps even by seeing what actually created the fire drill in the first place.
