Sleep More

One of the simplest and most common productivity and health opportunities that people do not capitalize is:

Go to bed earlier.

Whether stay up late to get more work done or to watch more television, either way, it doesn’t work.

I’ve tried both, many times.

You’ll get more work done the next day – much more – with rest.

And for sheer entertainment purposes, simply joy, yes, I’ll admit that I sometimes love watching movies in bed late at night too. But overall, this is not a workable strategy to increase joy and happiness.

Watching TV late at night can never bring true happiness. That can only come from within.

And as it relates to health, getting more sleep is the #1 thing you can do to help your body heal and protect itself.

More than any medicine, exercise, or diet.

Sleep.
