Training The Body & Mind

The other day I was feeling OK physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Not ‘super-fantastic’ or ‘on-fire’, but not poor. Just OK. About 7 on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being charged up with vitality.

Then I went into the gym and completely crushed a tough workout

A day full of squats, both heavy and light, with many reps of sled drags, dips, curls, presses, and other things as well.

I made it a point not just to ‘do the workout’, but to do it with as little rest as possible, as quickly as I could, pushing my heart rate up and testing my fortitude.

At the end, I felt great.

Because something you just have to crush it, to put your body to the test, in order to strengthen your mind.
