In any physical position of exercise, you can almost always take it a bit deeper, hold it a bit longer, balance it a bit more gracefully, breathe into it a bit more slowly, or stretch into it a bit more fully.
The question that I find it most important which determines whether or not you will go for the full motion, or just go through the motion, is “why?”
Why are you training? What are you training for?
Because when it’s cold, or when it hurts, or when you can ease off just a bit because no one will be able to tell that you are, if you can remember why you’re training, and it means a lot to you, you won’t stop there.
You’ll keep pushing towards the best possible version of yourself.
