Today’s going to be a busy day; tomorrow’s going to be even busier.
Next week is a super busy week. Next month is my busiest.
Hogwash.
You can keep telling yourself that story, but that’s your choice. That’s only one way to look at it.
I prefer to avoid the word ‘busy’ as much as possible.
It is overused, at least in my estimation.
It has its place, but, only when it’s not covering up the truth.
So if the truth is that ‘this isn’t that important to you right now’, or that ‘you keep putting yourself in this position’, or that ‘you’re just constantly using being busy to avoid something’, then, say that instead.
At least to yourself.
