It’s not really that serious.
You, I mean. You, and your life.
Of course that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t take anything seriously.
As I said yesterday, if you’re going to eat, really eat.
If you’re going to love, love deeply.
If you’re going to work, give us your best work.
And then, when those moments, those actions are done (of course you cannot eat, love, or work continuously, with full intensity, indefinitely), laugh.
Laugh at yourself. Laugh at any mistakes you have just made. Laugh at how absurd you sometimes take yourself.
Remind others, particularly those who are overly stressed out, to do the same (without angering them or shattering their defenses).
You’re here to do something, that’s for sure, but it’s not to take yourself overly seriously.
I don’t know much for sure, but I’m pretty sure about that.
That’s the big ‘cosmic joke’.
You’re either aware of it, or not.
But you are a part of it, one way or the other.
