After you’ve taken what you need from it, for example, not making the same mistake twice, or reflecting deeply on what scared you so much, let it go.
Just because you’ve always done this (worked, loved, taken care of yourself) in a certain way, doesn’t mean that you have to continue on in the same manner.
Not for one more moment, you don’t.
Throwing those negative, self-defeating stories out is one of the highest forms of self-love I can think of.
