Saying ‘Yes’

What should you say ‘yes’ to?

It might be everything.

‘Yes’ means that I see you, I accept you. I’m willing to give you my full attention, my heart.

‘Yes’ means that even though this bothers me, I’m going to work through it with you, or for you.

‘Yes’ can even mean that while this opportunity seems interesting, I wish you the best, but it’s not for me right now. (So ‘yes’ can even be a respectful ‘no’.)

Saying ‘yes’ to everything does not mean that you have to personally do or engage in everything.

What it means is that when you say ‘yes’ first, you’re surrendering. You’re letting yourself get out of the way, so that you can be as compassionate as possible.
