Inner Work

It’s Monday, my favorite day of the work week, as I’ve mentioned before.

This Monday I’d like to remind you about the most important and challenging work you must do: inner work.

You, as a Father, must work on yourself. You must look inward, explore the things that scare you, and conquer the things that block you. You must transform those negative things into positive opportunities for growth. It is only through them that your greatest successes will flourish.

You can begin this work with as little as five or ten minutes per day of self-reflection, writing, sitting, breathing, painting, and many other modalities.

Whatever method you choose, there is only one that will not work: avoidance.
