It’s What You Eat

You have much more control over what you eat, than how much.

In fact, and there are several books, experts, and doctors out there that support this:

You might be eating too much because you are overweight; NOT the other way around.

The notion that you are overweight because you eat too much implies that ‘it’s just a matter of self-control’ and that if you somehow ‘would just eat less you would be fine’.

But that’s really just not the case. It’s way too simplified and doesn’t even address the most important thing of all: what are you eating?

Stick with organic, whole foods. Grass-fed, pasture-raised animal products. Foods without labels. Lots of different color foods. Fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts, and seeds. Fermented and sprouted foods. New foods that you haven’t eaten in awhile. Cook.

Can you ever eat out, have a packaged protein bar, or cookie?

Of course. (Just read the ingredients!)

I don’t advise restriction, I prefer addition instead.

Addition of foods that balance your body, and help you thrive.
