I can say this with confidence as I’ve been meditating daily for several years:
The practice of meditation, which can take several forms (it doesn’t have to be you sitting cross-legged on a pillow), is not where you notice the effects.
You notice the effects of meditation in the rest of your life, when you’re not meditating.
When you’re arguing with your wife; when you’re in a meeting at work; when you’re watching your children play.
If you’ve tried, or are considering a daily practice of meditation, keep that in mind.
Enlightenment will not arrive in a flash of lightning, but it is available to you in every moment that you’re open to it.
