Your body doesn’t care what’s on your electronic calendar, or what time you set your alarm for.
That’s why the word ‘oversleep’ is so misleading. Yes, you can ‘oversleep’ for an appointment that you made, but no, you cannot really ‘oversleep’ for sleep, which could also be viewed as an appointment that your body has made.
In fact, your body’s ‘appointment and alarm clock system’, when uniterrupted, is far more accurate that any which you can create or subscribe to on your own.
The more you try to overrule it, the more out of balance your health will become.
In addition, because your body is a system of systems, if you ‘cheat’ one, the effects will simply spill over into one or more of the other systems, because you cannot cheat the holistic system that you are.
