I’m generally recognized as the “high-energy” guy, full of enthusiasm, intensity, fire, and vitality.
But that’s only one side of the coin.
The first thing I do every morning, as an example of ‘the other side’, is meditate.
I try not to look at my phone for as long as possible in the morning, not just as method of reducing screen time, but as a way to increase relaxation time.
You see, you cannot have one with the other.
If you want to be full of energy, then you must also get your full of rest.
Rest for your mind, body, and soul.
These come in many different forms.
What I’ll tell you for sure is that I am truly at my best when I ‘rest hard’, meaning, when I take it really seriously.
And with that, I’m off to get ready for bed.
