I often write about physical strength on this blog.
“Become as strong as you can possibly be,” I’ll say.
“Squatting is awesome,” I’ll say.
But I’ll also say this:
True strength is inner strength.
It means having the guts to do the inner work.
To get help. To heal yourself.
To walk with others down uncomfortable emotional paths.
To make them feel safe.
To be open, vulnerable, and connected.
That kind of strength also takes repetitions, practice, and hard work.
