Sometimes when I wake up, I have so much on my plate for the day, I’m not exactly sure where to begin.
Or maybe I stayed up too late, didn’t get enough rest, and I’m a bit slower than usual to get moving.
Yes, it’s true, not every day starts according to plan for a Health Coach.
But I do have one simple habit that helps me get started, even when I don’t feel like it.
For years now, the first thing I do every morning is make myself a mason jar full of water, fresh squeeze lemon juice, sea salt, apple cider vinegar, chlorella and spirulina (algae).
Now, what I put in the water is not what I’m talking about here. That’s important, but that’s not the topic of this post.
It’s the fact that I found a habit that works for me, that’s a simple, easy, beneficial, way for me to get my day started.
What happens over time with strong habits is that they become a part your personality.
They become a reminder and a vehicle for the fact that, no matter what’s going on, you get keep moving forward on the path of good health.
You can start to stack those habits, one on top of the other, for increased effect.
After my water, I have others.
But first, pick a simple, easy one to start with.
Eventually you’ll have a strong routine that works for you.
