The Importance of Laughter

One of the reasons I joke around so often is because the alternative, to be serious most of the time, can be detrimental to your health.

In fact if I have any chance of reaching my goal of living to 120 and being able to do a push-up, then, keeping my stress levels low for the next 80 years might even be more important than my diet & exercise choices.

You can check out the Blue Zones for more evidence about that.

Besides, many of the things that you might want to be serious about are often quite absurd at the end of the day anyway.

Do we really need to vehemently argue over who brushes their teeth first, or whose political views are right?

There are many things that matter in life, and being able to laugh is one of them.
