I was a few seconds away from not training at all.
It was cold. It was late. I had to get breakfast started for the family, so that we could be on time for our commitments. I had plenty of other work to do on the computer. Plus, my lower back was still sore. Another day of rest would have done my body good.
I had all of the reasons in the world not to train that day.
Except that one hour later, I felt fantastic. I was already planning the following day’s workout, having just finished this one (that I almost skipped).
Excuses not to train are easy to come by.
Results from pushing through those excuses are not.
