If you’re looking for a good fish oil, at the end of the day, you want the best quality you can find without getting ripped off.
I know that if you’re scrolling through labels on Amazon, GNC, or any other store or site, that you care enough about what’s in the bottle to pay more than just some cheap crap.
I use this one from Viva Naturals, and I’ll tell you why.
It’s priced well. At about $0.20 per soft-gel, on the recommend dose of 2 per day, you’ll ‘spend’ a very fair price of $0.40 per day when compared with other top quality fish oils.
And this one is top quality. There are a handful of others that might be better in terms of potency, but, I’m not convinced that those are worth the money.
The Viva gets you 1400 mg EPA + 480 mg DHA per day, just slightly less than a 3:1 ratio. This is ideal.
I’ve been taking it for about a year, I’ve never had a fish burp.
It’s GMP certified, which means the plant goes through a rigorous, independent third-party safety audit & inspection annually.
All of the fish is wild & sustainably caught.
Finally, it passed this cool little purity test you can do at home for yourself, without a lab: stick a few in the freezer overnight.
If your fish oil gets cloudy, that means there are impurities or other things inside of the pill that are congealing.
This Viva fish oil stays full clear when frozen.
