On Facing Yourself

You know what it is that’s holding you back.

It might not be at the forefront of your mind.

But it never goes away.

It lurks there, and it always appears, over and over again.

Eventually you’re either going to have to walk straight towards it, or be confronted with it when you really don’t want to be.

Wouldn’t you rather face your fears on your own terms?

(Just so you know, this never actually goes away. It’s not a ‘one & done’. What does happen, over time, is that you get better and better at it through practice.)
